The worst celebrity influence, 2009
Miley Cyrus, one of the most popular stars of Disney's last three years, with successful albums and movies of success, has been voted the worst influences of fame in 2009 by the same people who have made her a star, tweens and teenagers, according to a survey online Wednesday.
Cyrus, 16, took 42 percent of the vote to vote for JSYK.com AOL (Just So You Know) website aimed at 9-15 years, pushing Britney Spears and rapper Kanye West at the second and third places respectively in a section on the worst influences of fame this year.
No reason was given for the poor performance of singer and actress and star of Disney Channel's popular "Hannah Montana series television.
However, the classification remains a year that saw a controversial Cyrus dating 20 model years, that "slanted eyes" in an informal snapshot criticized Asians in mockery, and being accused of pole-dancing in a teen program price.
Cyrus was also at number 4 in the category Favorite Female Artist, behind 19-year-old country sensation Taylor Swift, 'I Kissed a Girl "singer Katy Perry and R & B Beyonce. The survey found nearly 50,000 of voice.
"I think Miley is a very interesting area where this is going from 'Hannah Montana' and Disney Channel's celebrity and his own and a career beyond Disney, "says Stephanie Cohen, editor of JSYK.com.
"I think that his fans still want to be Hannah Montana's sweet, and age is, until … Parents are certainly resist, "said Cohen.
