I could not make a big difference between Epiphone and Gibson guitars?

Hi, I recently bought an Epiphone Les Paul Classic and I love him to death. Before that, I just used a Fender Squier guitar for beginners, compared to the Les Paul, it sounds a bit wrong. Is it really could make a big difference between the Epiphone and Gibson Les Paul? Because I might need to save for a Gibson if it's worth. Looking to buy this … Either: Epiphone or Gibson SG, Epiphone Ace Frehley Signature Les Paul, Fender P Bass or Fender Jazz Bass. As you can see here, I'm like a bass player. Can anyone recommend one that I have to invest? Currently I have about $ 200 (and even the backup) for a guitar / bass, and I want to get good if my money is not wasted. Thanks for your help

There is a difference how an Epiphone and a Gibson sound and play. There is also a difference in finish and detail. The question was for me, the differences are really worth the extra Gibson cost few thousand dollars. I have several friends who own Gibson, who would disagree with me on this, but I like this brand is in the wrist. I'm interested in status symbols. I went with the Epiphone and was very happy with my choice. I played a lot of Gibson guitars, some are nice to play (and see), while some may be very disappointing. I asked an expert luthier of the same questions you asked and his answer was: Each guitar is different, to listen, feel their support, review every aspect of care. Do not go just for the brand. Name of the Gibson Les Paul, despite his clear tone, very strong around his neck. The last time that he had bought a Cort guitar. Much better than Epi, much cheaper than a Gibson.
