If I had power, I want to change the title of news Soundside CD "Seconds to Sunrise" to "Soundside of labor. No, not as a kind of tribute to Grateful Dead or their album of the same name, but because the music scene today is dominated by pop segmented generic suburban, rap ringtones for true and false ghettos, and indie rock hipster college education, there is a definite shortage of honest rock and roll. The type of rock that takes you through a day of loading boxes on pallets or paint the house. Rock for the unpretentious rock for people who work in shops or hang this sheet. Soundside brings back rock sound old school – hard but not metal, melodic, but not Justin Timberlake, and a touch of grunge, minus the tortured angst.

In fact, one might say about the second set of Sunrise. Soundside pulls the source of the guitar, kick-out-the-rock jams giving the listener the musical equivalent of a day honest work for honest pay for bread. Frankly, it certainly Soundside Maximum Rock and Roll.
